This is the Albany Woolly Bush or Adenanthos x cunninghamii, it is a most apt name for it as everyone is drawn to the soft feathery looking foliage to feel it and see if it feels as fluffy as it looks.

This is the prostrate form, it also comes in a shrub and large almost small tree size. I love this sprawling form, it makes you want to lie down in it and have a rest gazing at the trees above. The flowers are tiny open red bells, that give the plant a hue and are barely noticeable unless up close.

P1060234This is a wonderful plant for lifting a dark shaded area, especially one that is dry as thats what it loves, dry, dry,dry and well drained soil, sun is a bonus.
