I love the combination of native plants in this tiny front garden and if my front garden was tiny i too would probably try to cram as many of my favourite plants in as possible. However this garden is over-planted, there is a WA grafted flowering gum, a tall Leptospermum scoparium, Westringia fruticosa, Melaleuca ‘Revolution Gold’ and a Lilly Pilly. They are all fighting for space and sunlight and turning leggy, the root competition down below must be fierce too.

Birdbaths designed for birds

Mallee Birdbaths are specifically designed to serve birds. The copper dishes are broad and shallow, allowing birds to land on the edge and walk into the water. The baths are modern, elegant and durable. They are locally made in the Illawarra (NSW, Australia) using materials that will weather well and last decades. For help on which dish to choose, go here.
