Of course this Grevillea intricata is from WA! these amazing needle like leaves form a dense tangle with the stems remaining a deep red, it is beautiful even when not in flower. This is a grafted specimen that is planted in the Grevillea park gardens in Bulli, it does require the garden bed to be well prepared especially if you have a clay subsoil as drainage is the key, low humidity also helps but there’s not much you can do about that if on the east coast. However this really is worth a try if you are looking at grafted grevilleas as there are so many out there.
