    Hello,

I’m a big fan of your website – so much great information and inspiring content. I have also found it very helpful how you compile information and present it back on a webpage etc with photos… For example I was having a look into Grafted Gums Corymbias and found myself hopping back and forward between different websites trying to compare and form a mental picture of what they all looked like and the different varieties etc.. and then I found your webpages which show some great mature photos of the different varieties and some helpful summary information! Fantastic!

I did wish to write and let you know – I may have noted a Plant ID typo… or perhaps it’s my error…. not sure. I was reading this very interesting article you posted c/o this webpage…

One of the plants with a photo that you listed was tagged <>. It’s a great photo and this is a lovely plant – I have one in my own garden. I was of the understanding however that this plant is actually named <> and is named after a little country town in outback Queensland called Injune which is where this unique Callistemon variety was “discovered”. Like I said – I may be mistaken on this. Just thought I’d let you know as a courtesy and perhaps worth double checking on it.

Thanks again for all your great articles and helpful information. I find myself regularly visiting your website. You’re based in NSW?

    Best wishes, Brad

    Hi,

I love the look of the dwarf lemon scented tree and are thinking of putting one in the front yard as a feature. I’m just wondering how invasive the roots systems can be? How far away from paths and our house would you suggest planting it to prevent any foundation issues?

    1. Kath Gadd

      Hi Roxy,
If you plant it at least 3mts from the house the roots should not cause any issue.

Where are you located, was interested in your birdbaths

    1. Kath Gadd

We are located in Bulli NSW. If you would like to get in touch via email (hello@malleedesign.com.au) we can let you know when we will be in the office.
Otherwise Sydney Wildflower Nursery also stock our birdbaths if you wanted to see them in person before purchasing.

Dear Mallee Design, I just wanted to say that I picked up a lovely large birdbath at the Collector’s Plant Fair which is now standing on top of a stone plinth. And I am so thrilled as the family of Bower birds that live in my garden now regularly drink from it, and bathe in it. If I could attach a photo I would! But it is just marvellous and gives me great pleasure: when the birds arent there I also simply enjoy the ripples of the water across the bowl. So, thank you! And as I have a friend in NZ I would like to give one to my next question is do you export to NZ?

    1. Kath Gadd

      Hi Kimberly,
Thank you for your lovely comment, you can send photos through to hello@malleedesign.com.au.
Yes we do send baths overseas, if you visit birdbaths.malleedesign.com.au the shipping will be calculated at checkout.
      Thanks again,
      Kath

    Hello Kath

I admire your in-depth knowledge and appreciation of native plants.

Do you undertake designs for Brisbane locations?

    1. Kath Gadd

      Hi Catherine,
Sorry at the moment I dont undertake any interstate work. You can have a look on https://www.ldi.org.au/find-a-designer and search for a local landscape designer.
      Hope this helps,
      Kath
